Silk painting is a delicate craft where patience and precision is required. In this workshop participants will be introduced to the materials, paints, equipment and items available to them. They will each work from a silk frame and be given a demonstration on how to paint onto silk either using freehand or from templates. Then it will be over to the guests to have a go themselves under the guidance of the tutor. Equipment includes paints, pens and pastals and outliners.

Participants can paint onto silk hankies, silk greeting cards and silk sheets which can be displayed or used time and time again.
