Mosaic Magic - For Schools

Craft Studio's Mosaic workshop aims to educate and inspire children to think about using new mediums in art. Mosaic is a great craft to learn, just like painting you can come up with any design and instead of using conventional mediums such as paint, charcoal, collage etc.. there are other ways to create a finished product. Using mosaic tiles we show children how to space and design before sticking down and grouting their finished piece. Children can draw out their design and then fill in with their chosen colours and shapes. We have plenty of items to choose from such as frames, plaques, vases, pots, tiles and more. Grouting their masterpieces will make them more versatile, waterproof, and stronger enabling the product to be in constant use. This is a very worthwhile workshop and we guarantee children will benefit from the experience.
