School Art Workshops

Creative learning - Active thinking, involving & engaging

Craft Studio School Art workshops are designed to give children an educational insight into a specific craft. We have a variety of workshops which can offer a different perspective from ongoing art curriculums yet challenge those creative minds into new techniques of working.

The idea of these workshops is to create an educational learning experience offering new techniques and materials. We want children to experience fun and varied ways of exploring art and all the different elements within.

How they Work:

Ideal as a morning or afternoon activity children will be shown how they can design and create a project through demonstration and guidance. children will be briefed on equipment, materials and designs. We will encourage participants to think about their working methods to help them develop unique designs and finished pieces.

The Workshops:

We can theme any of our workshops to coincide with Seasonal events such as Valentine's Day, Easter etc etc.. Please ask for detail and fact sheets.

How it works:

Children will be given a demonstration on how to design and make their item and be briefed on the equipment and materials they will be using. They will then start to work on their own project with the instructors on hand to guide and advise them.
